CONNECTIONS Game Show Night: ONE VS. 100!
While we were waiting for everyone to get signed in:
First Game: stand face to face and note as many things as you can about your partner's appearance. Turn back to back. Now, you and your partner each change two things about your physical appearance (move your name tag, untie your shoes, do something with your hair). Now turn around and see if each of you can identify what your partner changed.
Second Game: Fast as Fingers. Sit on the floor. Now pick a new partner and crawl over to that new partner. Each of you put your hands behind your back and choose a number between zero and ten. Behind your back, hold out that number of fingers. On the count of three, both partners will bring their hands around front to show how many fingers they are holding up. Then both partners add up the total number of fingers between you. The first partner to shout out the correct sum, wins that match. Best out of three wins the round!
Intro and Info: Now pick a new partner and stare at them really hard. Now crab walk over to that new partner. Introduce yourself to that person and tell them which school you go to and which church you go to. Pick a new partner again and stare at them really hard. Everyone stand up as quickly as you can. Now Chicken walk over to your new partner and introduce yourself. Tell them which school you go to and which church you go to.

Tonight's Catholic Expert is Chuck Brock (Youth Director from St. Pat's)
Here's how the game works ... You answer multiple choice questions. "The Mob" answers the same questions. If a member of the mob gets the wrong answer, they're out, no prizes for them! The expert decides when the game is done. Will he take his prizes and go? Or will he take on "the mob" for and answer another question? If the expert can knock out all of the mob, he gets to keep all of the prizes. If the expert misses even one question, the surviving members of the mob get to split the prizes. The grand prize winner for the last standing member of the mob, is two tickets to the Hight School Youth Rally coming up next month!
The Mob.
The first question is ...
Write down your answers!
Who's still in the game?
1
The expert can "Ask the Mob" for help. One mobster with the correct answer will tell why their answer is correct. And some one with the incorrect answer will tell why their answer is also correct. Let' ask Veronica (in the red shirt) why her answer is correct.
and we'll ask Peter (somewhere in the back) to explain why his answer is correct. The expert might be fooled! Or will he?
After a long game, the Expert decided to take his prizes and ... give them all to the mob!
There's a lot of great stuff here!
Rebecca Rethwisch (City High student who goes to St. Wenceslaus) and Sam Buatti (Cith High student who goes to St. Mary's) got a couple of goofy hats!
The Grand Prize Winning member of "The Mob" (in the shades) AJ Adam (Regina Student who goes to St. Mary's) and his buddy Sam Buatti.
Now it's time for FOOD!
Great food!
